Bay Basics takes great pride in the quality of the brands offered through their website. In the event your order does not meet your expectations, Bay Basics accepts returns or exchanges on all merchandise except for clearance items. Returns or exchanges must be requested within 15 days of receipt of merchandise by sending your request to email@example.com. Within two days, you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the return or exchange. Items that are being returned or exchanged must have all original tags attached and the clothing cannot have been worn, altered, or washed. No returns nor exchanges will be accepted if requested after 15 days from the date of delivery at your shipping address. The shipping expense for returns or exchanges is at the expense of the customer.
Any returns that ensue from a coupon or promotional discount will have the amount of said discount deducted from the return price. Refunds are credited to the original method of payment only.
All clearance items are final sale. If you return a clearance item without written approval from Bay Basics, ignoring our final sale policy, we will donate the item to a local charity and you will not receive either a refund to the original form of payment or store credit.
Bay Basics reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange if merchandise received is not in its original condition, or is outside the 15 day return or exchange period.
Frequent Returns Policy
To ensure a positive shopping experience for all our customers, Bay Basics reserves the right to refuse orders from customers who have an unusually high rate of returns. Customers will be contacted on an individual basis on this matter, and may be offered an alternate return policy. If the offer is declined, Bay Basics, in its sole discretion, may refuse to process the order.
Cancellations or Changes to Orders
You've changed your mind? That's okay, but we respectfully request that all order cancellations and changes to the details of an existing order be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours of placing an order. This will give us an opportunity to make sure we deliver exactly what you are looking for. Bay Basics reserves the right to refuse an order cancellation or change after the 24-hour period has expired.
Shipping and Handling for Returned MerchandiseThe return address may not be the same address on the invoice. Please contact Bay Basics at email@example.com for shipping instructions for returns and exchanges. Please do not contact the manufacturer or return merchandise directly to the manufacturer.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Do not send returns to Bay Basics with signature required. Bay Basics is not responsible for lost or misdirected merchandise returned for refund, exchange or credit. Bay Basics will not be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. Bay Basics encourages its customers to consider the value of the shipment with respect to obtaining insurance for such merchandise.
