Please read! Even if you've shopped with us for years, we have recently updated our cancellation, return and exchange policies!

Bay Basics takes great pride in the quality of the brands offered through our website. In the event your order does not meet your expectations, Bay Basics accepts returns on all full-priced merchandise (excluding gift cards, undergarments, swimwear, and some health and personal care items). Refunds can only be made to the original form of payment. Returns for refund must be requested within 15 days of receipt on full-priced merchandise that has not been worn, altered or washed. All original tags must be attached, and you must provide a reason for the return. The shipping expense for returns is at the expense of the customer.  Please send your return request to info@baybasics.com.

Any returns that ensue from a coupon or a promotional discount will have the amount of said discount deducted from the return price. The return price is the amount paid for merchandise after all discounts are applied. A portion of any coupon or promotional discount applied to the original transaction will e subtracted from all returned or exchanged items noted on the original order.

Due to the significant savings we offer our customers on clearance items, all clearance items are final sale. If you return a clearance item without written approval from Bay Basics, we will donate the item to a local charity. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide a refund to the original form of payment, or store credit.

Bay Basics understands that sizes and colors are sometimes different in person than they appear online. You have 30 days from the time of a merchandise's arrival at your shipping address to request an exchange for different merchandise or for store credit. Store credit expires one year after the initial merchandise order. No exchanges will be accepted if requested after 30 days from the date of delivery at your shipping address.  Please send your exchange requests to info@baybasics.com.

Bay Basics reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange if merchandise is not in its original condition, or is outside the 15-day return or 30-day exchange period.

Frequent Returns Policy

To ensure a positive shopping experience for all our customers, Bay Basics reserves the right to refuse orders from customers who have an unusually high rate of returns. Customers will be contacted on an individual basis on this matter, and may be offered an alternate return policy. If the offer is declined, Bay Basics, in its sole discretion, may refuse to process the order.

Cancellations or Changes to Orders

So, you've changed your mind? That's okay, but we respectfully request that all cancellations or changes to orders be submitted to orders@baybasics.com within 24 hours of placing an order. This will give us an opportunity to make sure we deliver exactly what you are looking for. Bay Basics reserves the right to refuse an order cancellation or change after the 24-hour period has expired.

Shipping and Handling for Returned Merchandise

The return address may not be the same address as the shipping address. Please contact Bay Basics at orders@baybasics.com for shipping instructions for returns and exchanges. Please do not contact the manufacturer or return merchandise directly to the manufacturer.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Do not send returns to Bay Basics with signature required. Bay Basics is not responsible for lost or misdirected merchandise returned for refund, exchange or credit. Bay Basics will not be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. Bay Basics encourages its customers to consider the value of the shipment with respect to obtaining shipping insurance for such merchandise.
